ESPN's College Gameday will visit Baton Rouge to present a women's basketball game for the first time ever.

On Thursday, January 25, ESPN's College GameDay will make its first of five trips for Women's College Basketball as they head to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. ESPN will broadcast the one-hour show at 7 p.m. ET, ahead of the conference match between No. 1 South Carolina and No. 9 LSU. The game is a component of ESPN's yearly We Back Pat campaign, which pays tribute to the late Pat Summitt, an icon in women's basketball coaching.

The program will be hosted by Elle Duncan from within the Pete Maravich Center, with Hall of Famers Rebecca Lobo, Carolyn Peck, and Holly Rowe joining her as analysts on women's college basketball. Lobo and Rowe will be on the call for the game (8 p.m., ESPN), joining play-by-play announcer Ryan Ruocco.

According to the ESPN Press Room, State Farm will run a bus exclusively to follow the women's College GameDay broadcast during the 2024 season. Additionally, State Farm has introduced the 3-point Challenge, in which a student will be chosen to compete for a chance to earn $19,000. In 19 seconds or fewer, the chosen student has to make four 3-pointers from different spots around the arc.
