Lake Charles Chapter Honors 2025 Cajun Music Hall of Fame Class In November
Lake Charles, La [KNGT-FM] - The Lake Charles Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association (CFMA) is holding its annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony in November, bringing in a new class of iconic Cajun musicians to the club.
Cajun music holds a special place in my heart, as my father, Dave Soileau, and I have been deeply involved in Cajun music for decades. My dad shared his love for our culture through his radio program, Louisiana Bandstand, which aired every Saturday morning across Southwest Louisiana. Over the years, his show could be heard on stations throughout Southwest Louisiana on 92.9 FM, 99.5 FM, and 1470/1290 AM.

My dad, Dave Soileau, is a member of the Hall of Fame, and in 2018, I was honored to be inducted as well. It was the proudest moment of my radio career, not only to receive the honor myself, but to share it with my father.
The 2025 class of the Hall of Fame is set to be inducted on November 22, 2025, here in Lake Charles, and you are invited.
