Gay Marriage and Other 92.9 The Lake Poll Results

The Unites States government took a very big step last week in recognizing gay marriages. What did Southwest Louisiana think of that? It's Mardi Gras season. Where do you think everyone is celebrating? We have the answers to both of those polls.

When it comes to federal legal matters ... the U.S. government now recognizes same sex marriages. Southwest Louisiana may not agree with the feds on this. Our poll showed 68% of respondents thing a marriage should be between a woman and a man.

It looks like most people plan to stay in Lake Charles for Mardi Gras.The results of our poll indicate that 60 percent plan on celebrating here with the second biggest percentage going to New Orleans.
