This Week’s 92.9 The Lake Poll Results

92.9 The Lake is always interested in how our listeners feel about the big issues of the week. We took this weeks big three news stories and ask your opinions. Here is what you said.

Paula Deen has seen her empire crumble this week. This has caused an uproar from her supporters as well as detractors. Facebook is buzzing from both perspectives. We wanted to see how you felt about it. It seems 47% of you don't think Paula is all that bad while 37% said she is a racist.

The other poll this week deals with capitol punishment. Texas carried out it's 500th execution and brought this issue to the forefront again.It would seem we agree with our western neighbor with 41% for the death penalty and 37% saying it should be decided on a case by case basis.

With the Supreme Court's rulings on gay marriage this week we thought we would see how Southwest Louisiana felt on the issue. A very clear 60% said marriage should be between a man and a woman. The telling point here is that not one single person was undecided on this issue.
