Former Saints RB Mark Ingram Thinks Officials Cost Team A TD – VIDEO
Former New Orleans Pro Bowl running back Mark Ingram knows the officials cost the Saints, and his former teammate, defensive end Cameron Jordan, a touchdown in Sunday's 27-9 setback to the Los Angeles Rams.
An 87-yard fumble return by Cam Jordan was nullified because the fumble was ruled an incomplete pass on the field.
Now, that call was reversed, but because of the whistle the touchdown did not count and the Saints instead got the ball deep in their own territory.
Ingram, who played 8 years for the Saints (2011-2018), including two Pro Bowl years (2014 & 2017), is in his first season with the Baltimore Ravens.
Ingram, like most, thought the play should have resulted in a touchdown.
Saints fans, players, coaches, and even ex-players, are getting a little tired of the team seemingly always being on the wrong end of controversial officiating calls.
