This player was an absolute beast on the field for McNeese and should continue his dominant ways for the Gamblers for the rest of the USFL season.

Former McNeese defensive star Isiah Chambers was signed by the Houston Gamblers during the Memorial Day weekend. Chambers will help add a much-needed pass rusher to the Gamblers' defense.

Isiah finished the 2020 season with 7.5 sacks and had 10.5 sacks last season for the Pokes.

The Gamblers have the worst defense in the USFL and need talent added to their team wherever they can find it There are only three games left in the regular season. They signed Chambers on the Friday before last week's game. Isiah didn't play, but I'm sure he'll be causing havoc in the backfield this week as the Gamblers take on the Tampa Bay Bandits on Sunday at 3:00pm.  You can watch the game on the Peacock app.

The Gamblers had the lead, 24-13, heading into the fourth quarter this weekend against the Philidelphia Stars. However, their defense showed exactly why they're the worst defense in the league and allowed the Stars to score 22 unanswered points in the fourth quarter blowing the lead.
