Five Louisiana Soldiers Charged With Drugging And Rape
Two Louisiana women have accused five separate Fort Polk soldiers of drugging and raping them.
In a story originally reported from the Louisiana Radio Network, we learn that these two women, who are considered extremely credible, have accused the soldiers stationed at Fort Polk in Vernon Parish, of giving them spiked alcohol and once they were rendered incapacitated, raping them.
In the event, which reportedly happened in Rosepine, Louisiana on November 25th, the women claim they knew one of the soldiers, and that was how they came to be in the presence of all five.
Vernon Parish Sheriff Sam Craft said, “We don’t see much of this here, fortunately, and certainly not to the magnitude with the number of suspects. So it is kind of the classic date rape type scenario.” Craft went on to say that, “Early the next morning they went straight to the hospital because they knew something had transpired.”
Craft also stated that along with forensic evidence collected at the hospital, there was video evidence confirming the attack and that the parish is receiving help from the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division. According to Craft, "We are very familiar in working with Fort Polk authorities so CID was hands-on early on in lending their assistance to us.”
Those soldiers facing charges are:
John Paul Bianzon, age 29, of Fort Polk, charged with one count of Criminal Conspiracy and one count of First Degree Rape.
Franzrobert T. Camentil, age 20, of Fort Polk, charged with two counts of Criminal Conspiracy and one count of First Degree Rape.
