The Cowboys of McNeese State will take on the Cowboys of Oklahoma State Saturday evening for the first time in school history. Game time is 6:00pm in Boone Pickens Stadium. McNeese is 0-5 all-time vs the Big 12 conference, and 8-25-1 vs FBS schools.

McNeese opened the season with a 34-28 win at home over the Southern Jaguars last week. Cody Orgeron completed 15 of 22 passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns. Those two TD catches came from Trevor Begue. Elijah Mack ran for 45 yards on 12 carries. Kicker Bailey Raborn had an outstanding night, averaging 45.5 yards per punt and placing five kickoffs in the endzone for touchbacks. He earned the special teams player of the week honors in Louisiana for his efforts.

Oklahoma State began their season with a 52-36 win at Oregon State. The Cowboys were led by QB Spencer Sanders who was 19 of 24 for 203 yards and 3 TDs. He also ran for 109 yards. RB Chuba Hubbard ran for 221 yards on 26 carries and scored three times. OSU is 5-0 all-time vs the Southland Conference.
