Homecoming week wraps up at McNeese tonight when the Cowboys host Abilene Christian at 6. McNeese is coming off of a 48-27 win in Natchitoches last week while the Wildcats picked up their first win of the season, 52-27 over Incarnate Word. ACU is now 1-7 overall and 1-5 in the Southland Conference. McNeese is 4-4 and 3-3 in the SLC. The Pokes lead the all time series 3-0. McNeese won in Abilene last year 15-13. Abilene Christian was a charter member of the Southland Conference in the early 60's, but left in 1972. After 4 decades in Division 2, the Wildcats returned in 2014.

McNeese continues to be lead by QB James Tabary. He has completed nearly 60% of his passes for 2169 yards and 15 touchdowns. Tabary ranks 8th in the FCS in passing yardage. Ryan Ross leads the Pokes in rushing with 488 yards on 112 carries. Darious Crawley has take over the reception lead with 28 catches for 480 yards. Dylan Long leads the team in scoring with 36 points on 6 TDs. Kicker Gunnar Raborn has hit 22 of 22 PAT attempts. He is the reigning SLC special teams player of the week

Abilene Christian is lead by their QB Dallas Sealy. He has completed 62% of his passes for 2015 yards and 16 TDs. He has thrown just 3 interceptions this season. His favorite target has been D J Fuller who has caught 34 passes and scored 6 touchdowns. Adrian Duncan is their leading rusher with 334 yards.

The Cowboys are 52-19-1 in homecoming games at Cowboy Stadium and will be shooting for their 200th win in "The Hole". McNeese is 199-90-5 all time at home.
