It's that time of year again where the smell of freshly made funnel cake and the sound of children screaming on carnival rides invades the West Cal Arena!

I'm pretty sure you've read the headline, or else you wouldn't have read this far. Just in case you like logging onto random websites and playing Russian Roulette or Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Mo to pick the first article to read, surprise, the annual Cal-Cam Fair is Wednesday, Oct. 17, to Sunday, Oct. 21, at the West Cal Arena & Events Center, located at Arena Rd. in Sulphur, La.

The 94-year-old fair reportedly brings in 15,000 visitors on average each year, with carnival rides, a livestock show, live entertainment, food, games, arts, crafts, and more that adults and children will both enjoy.

Festival Hours:

  • Wednesday and Thursday: 4 pm - 10 pm
  • Friday: 5 pm – 12 am (midnight)
  • Saturday: 10 am – 12 am (midnight)
  • Sunday: 1 pm - 6 pm

Admission:

  • Ages 11 and older, $5
  • Children under 10, FREE.

NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED.
