Grab Your Friends, Bowl For Kids’ Sake Benefit In May

Bowl For Kids’ Sake will take place on Saturday, May 5th, at Petro Bowl in Lake Charles from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. During shifts lasting an hour, each team of up to six bowler-fundraisers will enjoy entertainment, music, and prizes to celebrate the funds they raised for BBBS. Hilarious team rivalries, outrageous costumes, and all levels of bowling skill (or lack thereof) are encouraged. There's minimum donation of $180 per team to compete. For a team of 6 players, that is just $30 a person. However, the idea is for you and your teammates to go out and collect donations by spreading the mission of BBBS to your friends, family and coworkers! In addition to prizes for the highest fundraisers, on the day of the event they will have raffles, door prizes and so much more. By participating in BFKS 2018 you are directly contributing to enriching and improving the lives of local children! All funds raised stay right here in Southwest Louisiana. For some perspective, it takes $1,200 to enroll and support a match for one year– and they have on average over 300 matches a year at BBBS-SWLA!
