Blue Iron Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club Hosting Benefit June 30
The Blue Iron Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club along with the Lake Charles City Police and the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office are hosting a benefit this Saturday June 30th in Lake Charles.
The benefit is for Sr. Cpl William "Parker" Vaughn at the Lake Charles Civic Center. Parker is a Deputy Sheriff with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's office who was in a bad motorcycle wreck in March. He has undergone many surgeries in Lafayette and is now in Texas at a rehab center.
They will have a poker run, Live and Silent auctions, Fun Jumps and face painting for the kids, and a car show!
You can enter your vehicle in the car and truck show for only $25. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. at the civic center. They will be giving away $200 for the peoples choice award plus 10 other awards will be given in each category.
This is a free event and is open to the public plus it will be a family friendly event. The benefit will start at 10:00 a.m. and go until 4:00 p.m.
