Alexandria Man Busted on I-10 With 800 Ecstacy Tabs
Once again, the ever popular 'routine traffic stop' has landed an Alexandria man behind bars. The Combined Anti-Drug Task Force (CAT) said Keith D. Plaxco, 41, was pulled over for a traffic violation while traveling east on Interstate 10 near Iowa early Saturday morning.
According to a CAT spokesperson, that many ecstacy tablets have a street value of about $16,000. The drugs were found inside a headphone case that was hidden behind the trunk liner of Plaxo's car.
Now, Plaxco is resting not so comfortably in jail after being charged with possession with intent to distribute and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
