Airplane Crashes In Roadway on LA 108

This one is just weird.We received word from Louisiana State Police Troop D asking motorist to avoid LA 108 near LA 1133 due to a plane crash in the roadway.

The pilot lost power and tried to make an emergency landing in the road. He hit power lines on the way down and crashed into the roadway. The pilot was uninjured and was alone in the aircraft. The roadway near Carlyss will be closed for an undetermined amount of time.
