97.3 The Dawg in Lafayette is reporting that some restaurants in Acadina are now serving boiled crawfish.

That's crazy to think about, especially after the last few years and the underwhelming crawfish seasons we've had to endure. Not only did the "eating season" start late because of the weather events, but the crawfish were small.

According to The Dawg, the LSU AgCenter is predicting that the 2026 crawfish season will be a "normal season" in Louisiana.

That means the crawfish supply will be more abundant, bigger sizes, and better prices around Mardi Gras and Good Friday than we've seen in years.
