The Pokes are 8-2 this season without Wade as he carried out a 10-game suspension from the NCAA for recruiting violations during his time at LSU. Willy The Kid will make his McNeese coaching debut this Wednesday in the Legacy Center and lead his Bayou Bandits into the fight.

The Cowboys started off with a huge win to set the tone for the season against one of Wade's former teams VCU. They went on to log big wins against Texas State and UAB leading up to this historic moment for the McNeese Men's Basketball program.
