Yes, let the celebrations begin, the Twinkie will be back on store shelves this summer.the truth of the matter is, I haven't eaten a Twinke in ages. Still, when they stopped making them, it suddenly seemed that I had to have one. I mean, really, they took another part of my childhood and did away with it. Without my permission I might add.
Does the following story sound familiar?
America has rallied behind the beleaguered Hostess company and now, a judge is urging both sides in the union labor dispute to sit down and talk it over...again. Maybe over a glass of milk and some Twinkies.
This is a sad time. An old friend is gone. Never again will we enjoy those special moments. If you listen really hard, you can still hear the wrappers crinkling. Twinkie, Ho-Ho, Ding Dong -- Thanks for the memories.
My wife posted on facebook last night that I was to search for remaining Hostess snacks for her this morning. I was already going grocery shopping so I added Hostess snacks to the list. I was wondering if there had been a run on the soon to dissapear goodies.
It's like saying that the American Flag will no longer be red, white and blue. Hostess, the company who makes Twinkies has announced that it will be closing their doors.
I don't want to start a panic, but Hostess makes (made) some other popular snacks as well.
