April 9, 2013 For most people the first time they open a microphone is a scary experience. It was the same for me. It got worse when the chorus of the song started playing and I feared I would get fired in my first five minutes of my career.
April 9, 2013 Suddenly "Keep Calm and Carry on" is everywhere. Coffee mugs, T-shirts and posters. this ubiquitous little saying has suddenly sprung up everywhere and you might be one of those wondering what it means.
Well, it's not something new at all. In fact the "Keep Calm and Carry On" signs are pretty old.

HIGHLIGHTS: It's the end of an era, folks . . . the Sears Portrait Studios just shut down.
Now, these pictures are not the reason Sears Portrait Studios has gone away. In fact, none of these pictures are even from Sears. Still, it is representative of the way a lot of families take family pictures.

April 7, 2013 OK, so I was cruising through facebook and found this. It is always funny to hear how someone from someplace else views Louisiana. Some of these are true and some of them are complete bull$&%$! I thought you would enjoy them anyway. While you are doing that ... I gotta get my lawn mower ready for my ride to work tomorrow and turn over the little gators I have roasting on sticks over the coals.
April 7, 2013 I can remember my dad visiting us back when we had a Maine Coon cat. It's tail looked just like a racoon's. My dad and I were talking in the backyard when our cat walked by. My dad said "if you followed that cat all day there is no telling what you would see." Apparently he was right.

Unlike the other babies, the kid at 1:28, gets real happy about the taste!
