2023 McNeese Football Schedule:

This is the last home game for the season this Saturday. The last two games against UIW and Southeastern have shown a lot of growth in the young McNeese Cowboy football team.  I'm very excited to see the Pokes this Saturday in a very winnable game on Senior Night.

My Thoughts On The 2023 McNeese Football Season:

I know the future of the McNeese football program looks bleak at the moment, and it's hard for us Gen Xers and Boomers who remember the Cowboys being a national powerhouse for so many years, but I ask for the Poke Nation to be patient.  I'm not asking you to accept excuses or give the team a participation trophy, I'm only asking to let the process play out.  NIL and the transfer portal have made it even more difficult to rebuild a team; now is not the time to give up on our coach or players.  Let's rally this next home game and show the team that we love and support our Pokes by showing up in The Hole with your cowbells and being loud.
