The Gothic "Hanging" Jail in DeRidder is an official landmark in Louisiana. When it's not Halloween, they offer daily tours Monday through Friday of the jail, but it has been recently closed for tours because it's been turned into one of the most unique haunted houses in the state.

The Gothic Jail is very well known for its paranormal hauntings there too. So maybe, just maybe you might not only get scared by a worker, but also a ghost.
