Over the weekend you may have heard about a high-speed chase that occurred in lake Charles.

According to Lake Charles police officials, the chase started from the Busy Bee gas station on Lake Street and ended in the 3000 block of June Street in Lake Charles.

In this era of social media and cell phones with cameras and video cameras, you know it would probably get caught on video.

We never would have thought that the suspects fleeing from the police would actually video the chase themselves as Lake Charles Police gave pursuit as they fled.  Well, they did and posted it on social media.

In the video from the suspects, you will hear a woman say "We taking Lake Charles on a high-speed chase. All of them, all of them. So y'all free me you heard. Free me, Free me." Then you can hear her laugh.

Then in the background, you hear a male voice say something we couldn't hear but then the female suspect says, "We both going to jail bitch.".

We have to warn you that there is some profanity in the video so be careful watching it at work.  Check this out.

How crazy is that? The two suspects were caught on the 3000 block of June Street in Lake Charles and were arrested. It is unknown why they fled the police and why they led them on a high-speed pursuit.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
