Venture Global to Build LNG Facility in Cameron Parish

Venture Global announced today that it will build and operate a  liquid gas export facility in Cameron Parish. It's a  $4.25 billion investment Southwest Louisiana.

According to PRNewswire The facility will be located on 203 acres along the Calcasieu Ship Channel where it meets the Gulf of Mexico.The project will create 1,500 construction jobs, 326 indirect jobs and 100 permanent positions. Construction is expected to begin in October 2016 with partial operations beginning in December 2018. Full operations are expected to begin in late 2019.
