I love those old urban legend stories. I guess I heard my first ones around a campfire when I was a Boy Scout. The older scouts would tell these horrific stories in order to make sure that all the younger scouts stayed up all night listening for strange sounds from the woods.

After the younger scouts were tucked away in their knapsacks, the older scouts would go out and make strange noises. it was all part of growing up. The stories were truly great and often gruesome. There was the ever-popular Hook Man, the Vanishing Hitchhiker and many more great tales all calculated to scare the hell out of younger kids. All the stories had one thing in common and that is that they all seemed that they could be true.

Well, this short video explores a few "urban legends" that have some basis in fact. So, enjoy the video and, whatever you do, don't look in the mirror and say "Bloody Mary" three times.
