Yesterday, we reported that three teens had vandalized the Little Free Library at the Grove at Heritage Square in Sulphur. Well, thanks to widespread coverage by the media, the teens realized that they were as good as caught and turned themselves in.

According to Sulphur Police spokesman, Mel Estess, no charges have been filed as yet and the subjects whose names are not being released because they are juveniles were sent home after confessing to the crime. There is no word on why they were released without charges.

This may not be the end of the story because the case has been turned over to the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney's Office.

There is video from park security cameras that show the trio entering the park and destroying the books. It was shortly after the video aired on KPLC that the three turned themselves in to police.
