Two Vinton Residents Arrested In Meth Raid

Meth has become a huge problem for our society. The evidence is when it spreads to our smaller communities. Vinton joins the list of communities where the problem persist.

Three different agencies combined on the arrest of 32 year old Terrence Budwine and 20 year old Lacy Courmier both from Vinton. The investigation was a joint effort by the Louisiana State Police, The Louisiana State bureau of Investigations and the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office. Budwine was arrested for distribution of meth and possesion of Xanax. He was also wanted on a parole violation. Courmier was arrested and charged with possession of Xanax. Both were booked into the Calcasieu Correction Center.
