Truck Slammed Into The Lake’s Office Building This Weekend

Yesterday, a truck being towed by an RV came loose and barreled across the interstate feeder road, then plowed into our offices.

Mike Soileau, Brand Manager of our sister station, Gator 99.5 FM, got a text from his buddy that a bunch of Lake Charles Police officers were at our building. Mike called their office and found out that they were working a wreck...AT OUR BUILDING!

What's crazy is that the truck, a large pick-up, doesn't even look like it hit a building. It's got one of those reinforced grills like you would have if you live in the country and there are lots of deer running across the road. It essentially just looks like it went mud riding, but our building, on the other hand...

Thankfully, no one was in the office or walking across the feeder road at the time of the incident.

It makes you think, though. What if something like this happened during business hours? That is a terrifying thought.
