Thanksgiving has come and gone so that means it's safe to decorate for Christmas, right?

As much fun as decorating for the holidays is, sometimes it can be a little overwhelming. Trying to figure out if you are going to keep things the same as the previous year or change it up, what color scheme you're going to go with, or even just the little things here and there can bring on a whole wave of anxiety.

One of the best places to look for new ideas and even hacks to make things a little easier for you is TikTok. I fell down that rabbit hole trying to find a little decorating help myself this year, and these are a few of the hacks I'm considering implementing.

If you have a house of animals, especially cats who like to play with anything that looks like a toy, these hooks will be a big help. It may take a little more time to hang ornaments than usual, but it will surely be better than constantly picking them up or ending up with more broken ones than you wanted. They are also reusable so you don't have to buy new ones year after year.

This might be one you've already heard of, but it is a crowd favorite. Sometimes you want all the Christmas spirit incorporated into your decorations, but you don't want to spend all the money. Wire hangers may not be a favorite, but they can serve a multitude of different purposes. If you buy cost friendly ornaments, a wire hanger wreath is a great and beautiful decoration idea.

This Christmas tree filler hack is one that had me asking, "Why didn't I think of that?!" If you have a perfectly functional tree but wish it was just a little bit fuller, don't go out and buy a new one. You can find affordable garland (even at the dollar stores) that will give your tree the puff it needs.

Another interesting hack for cat owners. I haven't actually tried it out yet to see if it works, but according to the TikTok user who posted the video, it has been a gamechanger in her household. Not only do cats like to play with the ornaments, but some like to climb in the tree like it's their personal cat tower. This is an affordable hack that could be worth a try.

Look, we all know money is a little tight these days. If you are wanting to change up your color theme this year, this might be a great idea. Some folks are so creative when it comes to being budget friendly. This balloon idea is a great hack that could save you a good bit of money for decorating this year.

These were just a few of the Christmas decorating hacks that caught my attention on TikTok. There are so many more that would help with things like Christmas lights and even present wrapping (which I am the worst at).

Do you and your family have any cool Christmas hacks or nifty ideas that you use when it comes time for decorating? We would love to hear about them.
