Science and research in the modern era is pretty incredible. People a whole heck of a lot smarter than me can pinpoint, with a fair amount of accuracy, pretty much anything. In fact, researchers have narrowed down the days and times you're most likely to be cheated on by a partner.

Illicit Encounters, a UK dating site for married folks, looked at the stats and interactions on their site to determine exactly when people are most likely to cheat. And the stats are pretty eye opening to say the least.

According to Illicit Encounters, 'The Golden Hour' for cheating takes place between 8 am and 9 am on Mondays. The second most popular hour for cheating is between 9 pm and 10 pm on Friday evenings. Pretty fascinating, eh?

On a semi-related note, the site Whimn broke down which types of men are most likely to cheat on their partners and those results are pretty eye opening as well. According to them here's the top cheaters in the universe: Taller men (those over 6 ft tall), Rock music fans, IT workers, men whose age ends in the number 9, French men, Twitter users and men named Wayne. You can read that full article and see the reasons why here.

Women are also guilty of cheating...however, according to research, they're more likely to emotionally cheat than have a physical encounter. Vix.com reports that there are 3 categories of women that are most likely to cheat on their spouse. Experts say that women who identify as virile, lonely and homemakers are more likely to cheat on their partners. You can read that report here.

At the end of the day, no matter who you are, cheating sucks.
