The best soft rock of the ’70s and ’80s is coming to Lake Charles this weekend!

Here's the tour lineup:

Ambrosia (How Much I Feel, Biggest Part of Me), not to be confused with the delightful treat, Ambrosia salad, this '70s rock band had forty hit singles between 1975 and 1980. For my money, that hook on How Much I Feel is one of the greatest of all time, so smooth and catchy!

John Ford Coley (I’d Really Love to See You Tonight) was born in Dallas, TX, where he grew up listening to the Grand Ole Opry, early rock and roll, singing church hymns, and was trained as a classical pianist.

Looking Glass (Brandy [You’re a Fine Girl]) was formed in 1969 after the group met each other at Rutgers University. The group helped pioneer the "Jersey Shore Sound" genre. I love the laid back tone of their number one hit, BrandyElliot Lurie's vocals are so unique, it almost sounds like he has a frog in his throat.

Peter Beckett (Baby Come Back) is an English singer and songwriter most known for his time as lead singer for the band, Player. Beckett met the other members of the band in Los Angles after he had moved there to pursue fame with his first group, Skyband. Once again, the hook on this song is a classic for the ages, and Beckett's piercing vocals were the perfect delivery.

Also appearing on the show are Stephen Bishop (On and On), Walter Egan (Magnet and Steel).

The tour takes the Grand Event Center stage this Saturday at 8:00pm at the Golden Nugget.
