The New Orleans Louisiana Superdome Turns 48 Years Old

48 years ago the Caesars New Orleans Superdome officially opened to the public! In those years it's been host to some of the most memorable moments in New Orleans entertainment. From sporting events to concerts and everything in between, the Superdome has made the city of New Orleans an entertainment hot spot.

It took four years to build and $134 million to complete the Superdome. It received $139 million in renovations after Hurricane Katrina and $259 million in renovations in 2021.
