According to a recent U.K. study, the longer a couple has been together, the longer it takes them to reply to each other's texts.
They discovered that newly dating couples had an average response time of 16 minutes and 50 seconds. Each day, they also exchange 15 messages and post on social media seven times.
They also found that the average response time drops to 24 minutes after just two years of dating, with 12 messages each day and six social media posts.
