The Cheapest Gas Prices In Lake Charles, Louisiana

As SWLA residents make plans to hit the road for the 4th of July weekend, we have all the details on the gas stations around town with the cheapest prices.

AAA is reporting that the national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $3.56. That's down around $0.10 from last month. That's a far cry from this time last year when the national average price for a gallon of regular gas was $4.90.

Here in Lake Charles, the average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas is $3.11 compared to $4.53 last year.

GasBuddy is reporting that the average tank of gas in Louisiana costs $3.07 a gallon. It also says that the cheapest price in the Bayou State is currently $2.57 a gallon.
