The Beauregard Watermelon Festival Begins This Friday

It's that time again to show our love for one of our favorite summertime snacks...the watermelon!

The Beauregard Watermelon Festival kicks off this Friday at 4 pm at the Beauregard Parish Fairgrounds in DeRidder.

You know SWLA knows how to throw a party!  They'll be tons of live music during this 2 day event, click here to see their entertainment lineup!  Plus, an interactive game show, a shirt-making contest, and frozen t-shirt contest just to name a few.

There will be several competitions during the festival including corn hole, seed spitting, signing, watermelon eating, growing, and carving contests.

The kids aren't left out either, the festival will have an activity and game tent for your children to have a great time too!
