The Saints were able to take down the Seahawks with the help of an absolutely historic performance by positionless athlete Taysom Hill.

The Saints need three more wins to get their second Superbowl ring. Those wins will have to come against the NFL's best teams and will require a stout defense. There is still no word on whether Keenan Lewis will be a part of that defense. The Saints did however sign another safety to the roster for the playoff run.

They said the Saints could not win on the road., They said the Saints could not win in the cold. They were wrong. A stingy defense and strong running game give the Saints their first ever road playoff win and sets  up a return trip to Seattle.

As my friend Tod Ardoin likes to say, "I don't have a dog in this hunt."  but, it was a down to the wire game and whether the call was good or bad, it was a game making play.   I'm not getting involved! What do you think? Who really had possession of that pigskin?...
