Here are the events and who will be playing at this year's festival.

Now here's a fun little festival for the the entire family. Louisiana Railroad Days Festival is an alcohol-free, family friendly, three day festival. The Louisiana Railroad Days Festival features Gospel Night, a 5K run and, of course, live music. Bring the family out to celebrate Louisiana's rich history and meet some of the people who have made that industry still strong today.

The streets will be filled with joy and festive cheer for the annual Christmas lighted parade sponsored by the DeQuincy Chamber of Commerce at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, followed by Christmas in the Park at 6 p.m. and fireworks at 7:30 p.m.
