Bossier City Community College has signed a new left handed pitcher and it's the first time in Louisiana history that a female has signed to play college baseball.
Cowboy Junior pitcher Michael Clemens went 4-4 last season with 54 strike outs in 79 and a third innings. This caught the attention of professional baseball scouts. It would now seem the right handed pitcher is going to begin his professional career.
Coleman Shannon was born without a right hand and forearm, due to a medical condition called Amelia, but that hasn’t slowed him down from chasing his baseball dreams. In fact, the 14-year-old left-handed pitcher recently threw a no-hitter in a Johnsonville, SC little league game.
