Heads up SWLA! LA State Troopers will be looking for impaired drivers and unrestrained motorists.

Louisiana State Troopers see it all the time. People who do not wear seat belts and it cost them their lives. It has happened again this morning before daylight.

This is certainly not great driving weather. Wet roads are dangerous and even more dangerous when facing the rain and impaired drivers. Louisiana State Police Troop D can not do anything about the weather ; but they can remove impaired drivers from our roadways and that will be the goal of Saturday's checkpoint night.

This story seems to repeat with different names. This one is even more puzzling since he was previously arrested for vehicular homicide.
