When we hear the words “gun” and “school” together we start to cringe. This time it happened here. The good news is that it was found before any shooting took place.

My wife and I had discussed getting her a gun for protection. We no longer have kids at home and it sure seems the world is getting crazier all the time. So the debate began.

Do we have a right to know which people around us have guns?  One New York newspaper thinks so in the aftermath of the Newtown shooting, and they MADE one without asking anybody.

The 4 million member NRA made a statement today regarding the Newtown tragedy. We have it for you to watch.

My wife and I both missed the first airing of this. We heard it was really good and last friday we really needed a temporary distraction. We hurried to get everything done in time to turn on the TV and watch and instead of Blake Shelton we got Michael Buble.

Yesterday I posted some of the comments from facebook friends as each dealt with their own emotions after the horrible shooting in Connecticut. The pictures are beginning to come now as people combine creativity with their emotions.

We live in a time when everybody shares their emotions with the world. A ta time like this everyone is very emotional. I find myself sad one minute then mad the next. Every post on my personal facebook page is people dealing with these emotions . I wanted to share some of the post and pictures with you.

Following President Obama's victory last week, gun sales have spiked, much like they did in 2008 when he was first elected. Second Amendment supporters fear that a Democratic administration will tighten the screws on their ability to possess certain firearms, so the idea is to buy as many as possible while they're still available.
