The Fifth Annual International Family Day in the Park is this Saturday at Loc park. there will be something for every member of your family at this free event.
Most of my life has been spent in the deep south where snow is not a common occurrence; but as a child I spent some time in places with frequent snow. My dad was in the Marine Corps so we moved around quite a bit and spent some time in Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia. Times have changed quite a bit so I am sure kids do much different things now; but here is my personal historic perspective.
"What's so great about bubbles?"
"They float, you can pop them, I get it."
"I wish I liked anything as much as my kids like bubbles."
My friend Pat McClure and I used to play Monopoly all the time. His folks had a really cool attic and we would have Monopoly Marathons and see just how long we could make a game last. Of course, the real rules went out the window. Seriously, who plays Monopoly by the real rules?
