The 2011 Marshland Festival is this Friday night & all day Saturday inside the Lake Charles Civic Center.  Food, dancing and awesome entertainment are the highlights you can expect this weekend. LOUISIANA FUR AND WILDLIFE FESTIVAL "ONE OF THE OLDEST AND COLDEST FESTIVALS IN LOUISIANA" This year's theme: The Oil Industry All events will take place on the fairgrounds located at the Cameron Parish School Board’s new location in Downtown Cameron unless otherwise stated. Ice chests will not be allowed on the fairgrounds.

The sounds of bagpipes will fill the air in Southwest Louisiana.  The 20th Annual Celtic Nations Festival is underway in Lake Charles.  Be there Saturday and Sunday for Indoor and outdoor stages, workshops, Celtic food, Celtic vendors, and much more.
