Forgotten Classic Hit of the Week — Chris De Burgh’s “Don’t Pay the Ferryman”
It was one of those songs that just didn't translate from MTV to the radio. While a lot of people enjoyed the eerie video, the song only made it up to #34 on the Billboard Top 40 charts.
Just like a great many songs from every era, people vaguely remember it, but it's just not one of those "classic hits" that has a life of it's own.
