It turns out that Friday’s Marshland Festival’s opening night was the farewell performance from our friends in Hip Boot Joe. We’re glad we got to capture them in their element one last time. Here’s their rendition of Journey’s “Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’”. You’re welcome.

A tribute concert in honor of Michael Jackson will be held October 8. Jackson’s mother, Katherine, and siblings La Toya, Tito, Jackie and Marlon were all on hand to make the announcement Monday in Beverly Hills. The show is scheduled for the 40th anniversary of Jackson’s first solo single, ‘Got to Be There.’

More great music is headed to Lake Charles. This concert will hit Southwest Louisiana in January. Friday, January 21st, Huey Lewis and the News will be at L'Auberge du Lac for an 8:30pm show.
