Louisiana is losing six stores in total statewide.

It's the first time the chain has closed locations for both Saturday and Sunday since 2010. The closure is planned for later this month.

The U.S. Postal Service has temporarily suspended operations at the Eunice Post Office, which is located at 250 Laurel Avenue.

KPLC reports that Louisiana State Police say they expect Interstate 10 to be shut down at the Texas state line sometime this morning.

If you are planning a trip from Lake Charles to Iowa, Jennings, Lafayette or anywhere east of Lake Charles today...You might want to give yourself some extra time.
