Marcus J. Montgomery, Lake Charles, is charged with four counts of child desertion. He left three children, under age four, home alone for over an hour.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's deputies were called to a casino in Westlake on Sunday, August 5 at about 4:00pm due to a report of two unattended children in a car.

I'm not even going to pretend this woman doesn't disgust me. Her name is Dawna Perkins Taylor and she's charged with desertion of a3-year-old child. Her excuse? She forgot the child was there! I refuse to believe anyone is really that stupid. Here's the story

On December 10 around 2:00 p.m. the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a home in Westlake in reference to three young children being left alone.  Deputies learned a 6 year old, a 7 year old and a 9 year old woke up that morning after spending the night at their grandfather’s home to find him not at home.
