Marshon Lattimore will likely not be able to play in Thursday's matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. The Saints will miss him sorely as they face an offensive weapon the Cardinals didn't have before this week.
With a lack of consistency In New Orleans, at LSU and McNeese; there has been little to cheer about during this year's football season. The same thing can not be said across the Sabine River where the Cardinals have had a great season and last night capped it off with a road victory over our Cowboys in Lake Charles.
The McNeese Cowboys have one more regular season football game left. The Pokes travel to Beaumont Saturday to take on the Lamar Cardinals. It should be an easy win for the Cowboys and set the team up for a home p[layoff game. tickets for that playoff game can be reserved now.
The #9 ranked Cowboys (8-2) are looking for two wins to seal a playoff spot. They'll get a chance at the first one Saturday at Cowboy Stadium against Northwestern (5-5).
We all remember (though we may not want to) the year the Saints had. We also remember a disappointing season of Cowboy football. We have not had much to cheer about. Cowboys basketball has not exactly been stellar this season either, but there is now reason to celebrate!
You have to love a weekend when all of our teams win. A win by the Tigers, Cowboys and Saints is the best way to start any week. Then add to that a day off at Thanksgiving and the week looks even better.
