Do to the deteriorating weather conditions, all of the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Offices closed today (Tuesday January 16) at noon.

A local resident says he received a one-sentence reply from a Calcasieu Parish Police Juror in response to his concerns regarding area flooding.

In anticipation of the heavy rains and high winds due to Tropical Storm Cindy, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury will close all their departments today at noon.
