Calcasieu Parish Library and CPSB have teamed up to make it easier for students to access important resources like tutoring using their school ID.

All branches of the Calcasieu Parish Public Library closed at 6:00pm on March 17 and will remain closed until further notice.

Let's face it; there are times when you just need some legal advice. The problem is when you need that legal advice,but just don't want to shell out a wad of money for minor problems and that's where this free seminar comes in. It's yet another service offered by the Calcasieu Parish Library.

The Calcasieu Parish Public Library has come up with a great plan to reduce people's library fines and help the hungry right here in the Lake Area. It's called "Food for Fines' and you can get $5 off your library fine just for donating at the local library.

There's always something going on at the library and the Calcasieu Parish libraries all have some great events for the entire family. One of the most popular events is the Friends of the Library Book Sale and it starts this Sunday!
