Syria and Racism — Lake Poll Results
This week's 92.9 The Lake polls were all political. We wanted to check out the pulse of Southwest Louisiana when it came to Syria and Governor Bobby Jindal.
Our governor recently made some comments that some would see as racist. He said "far too much emphasis on our ‘separateness,’ our heritage, ethnic background, skin color, etc." We wanted to know if you thought these comments would affect his political future. The majority (60%) thought that he was just being honest and that it is a good quality.
Then we ask if the president's speech on Syria changed your mind about U.S. military action against that country. According to our poll the speech did not work. The majority (46%) said the speech did not change their mind and 26% said they are still undecided.
