Suspected Human Remains Discovered Near U.S. 90 In Vinton, Louisiana

(KHLA - Lake Charles, Louisiana) - A grisly scene including suspected human remains were found this morning in Vinton in the woods off U.S. HWY 90. We have all the details.

KPLC is reporting that a passerby found the remains at Gum Gully in Vinton around 7:00am this morning and notified law enforcement.

The Calcasieu Coroner’s Office is in possession of the remains for further testing and identification.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office Detectives are on the scene and processing the area with the help of the Vinton Police Department.
