Spring Art Walk and Art Battle Downtown this Friday

This is such a great event. Take the whole family out for a great evening on Ryan Street with the Spring Art Walk and Art Battle.

The event gets underway at 5 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m.. Ryan Street will be blocked off and the whole street will be full of great art displays and events.

Each year, this events get bigger and more entertaining. You can walk the route or ride in a pedicab and enjoy all the artwork, live music and a few surprises along the way.

One highlight of the Art Walk is the Art Battle where teams compete to create a mural in just one hour while you watch.

All the downtown restaurants and bars will stay open for this event in case you get hungry or thirsty along the way and, of course there will be all kinds of refreshment booths along the way as well. It's a great family event and it's sponsored by the Arts Council.
